Not to mention, they’re also super approachable for kitchen beginners and super delicious!

A Tribute to Holiday Tradition

Almost everyone I’ve asked about eggnog, either hates it or loves it. It’s certainly a dish that divides opinions. I personally really enjoy it! It could be because I grew up seeing my dad enjoy this iconic holiday drink every year. Perhaps it’s the nostalgic memories this spiced drink brings me that makes my love of it so much more profound. I still vividly remember how seeing the first cartons of eggnog of the season in the grocery stores brought excitement, signifying that the holidays were near. My dad would always make sure to snag a carton or two.

These bars draw inspiration from the viral churro cheesecake bars that I made for the first time back in 2020. Back when I first tried the OG recipe a few years ago, I appreciated the simplicity and convenience which are SO important to consider during one of the busiest times of the year. This year, I wanted to add a festive twist and what screams “festive” more than eggnog?

Why You’ll Love This Recipe:

No-Fuss Preparation

This recipe highlights the creaminess of eggnog while capturing the luscious texture of cheesecake we know and love. What I love about this recipe? It’s easy to tackle for cooks who may not be ready to take on a classic cheesecake. PLUS by using Pillsbury crescent roll dough, we’re cutting prep time without sacrificing flavour.

Saves You Time

In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, simplicity is key. These eggnog cheesecake churro bars are a dessert made for those who are looking for a stress-free treat. The holidays are meant to be enjoyed, and whether you’re new to the kitchen or a well-seasoned home cook, you can trust that you’ll end up with a decadent treat without the added stress.

Welcome the flavours of the season with these Eggnog Churro Cheesecake Bars! While intricate desserts and wonderful in their own right, this easy-to-follow recipe is proof that there’s room for holiday desserts that can be both approachable and delicious, giving you more time to cherish the holidays.
