Delicious and Healthy Mango Yogurt Clusters Made With Greek Yogurt

5 from 1 vote

Mango season is approaching and these mango yogurt clusters are the perfect option to satisfy a sweet tooth. With Greek yogurt, this no-bake treat provides an extra boost of protein and stores well in your freezer – especially during those warmer months!

Sometimes you just want a sweet little treat and these mango yogurt clusters are a great option to not only satisfy but keep you satiated. This was inspired by a viral recipe I came across on TikTok last year where the original recipe uses strawberries. This is my twist on this frozen treat that took social media by storm.

The flavours of chocolate and mango pair so well and the greek yogurt adds protein and creaminess! These have become one of my go-to recipes for the summertime and my family really enjoys them as well! Not to mention, they’re perfect to make ahead and store in your freezer for moments you crave a nice treat.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Ripe Mangoes
  • Greek Yogurt
  • Honey
  • Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Coconut Oil
  • Shredded Coconut Flakes

I am a fan of using ataulfo mangoes also known as honey mangoes. They have a delicious natural sweetness when ripe. For this recipe, any type of mango will work. You want approx 1 ½ cups of diced mango for this recipe. The amount of mangoes used will vary depending on the size of mangoes you use.

Tips for Coating the Clusters

When coating the frozen clusters, the chocolate may begin to solidify as it comes to room temperature. Try to coat the clusters quickly before the chocolate has time to harden. The coconut oil is meant to help with the fluidity of the chocolate but you may need to melt your chocolate in two separate batches to coat all the clusters successfully.

Getting Creative with the Toppings

I am a fan of the combination of mango and coconut. It brings such a wonderful tropical flavour! If coconut isn’t your thing, you can substitute it with a different topping. The topping adds another layer of texture that’s really enjoyable!

Some other topping options include:

  • Puffed rice
  • Cornflakes
  • Granola
  • Crushed nuts such as walnuts or peanuts

These mango yogurt clusters are so refreshing and considering how easy they are, they may just become your new favourite snack! I would love to hear if you tried them out and what you think! Share your feedback and experience in the comments below or on social media!

  • 1/3 cup 28.05 g coconut flakes

Directions

  • In a bowl, combine diced mango with Greek yogurt and vanilla
  • Drop 1/3 cup dollops of mango yogurt mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment, wax paper or a silicon baking mat. Freeze for at least 3 hours up to overnight.
